The Broughton Community is located within West Wrexham in North-East Wales, approximately four miles from Wrexham town centre.
It is made up of seven villages: Southsea, Brynteg, Caego, New Broughton, Pentre Broughton, Lodge and Moss, and has a total population of 6,736 people.
These villages share a common industrial heritage relating to steel and mining industries which have now ceased production. This had a negative impact on the lives of many local people, however, a number of initiatives have been put in place in order to maintain the strong sense of identity and community which exists in the villages, and to build new prosperity.

Our web site will introduce you to the Broughton Community, the facilities and the opportunities which exist for the people who live and work here, and the new developments which are taking place.
